What Is Chasing Second Chances All About?
During the ten weeks of the Chase for The NASCAR Sprint Cup, the Joey Logano Foundation will be awarding grants to charities in race markets as the series makes its way across the country.
The key goals of the program are to…- Raise Awareness for non-profits in our racing communities.
- Inspire fans to look for causes they can support.
- Invest in ideas that bring positive change to those in need.

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Program
Although pediatric cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the United States, and the incidence rate for pediatric cancers has risen by 24% over the past 40 years, pediatric cancers receive less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s $4.93 billion budget. This year alone, approximately 15,780 children (ages 0-19) in the United States will be diagnosed with pediatric cancer, and more than 400 of those children will be right here in Illinois. As the incidences of pediatric cancers increase, so does our need for support.
Week 2 - MPAL
MPAL
The Manchester Police Athletic League (MPAL) is a center city organization that brings cops and kids together through athletic, academic, and recreational opportunities to build champions in and out of the gym. MPAL is supported by the Manchester Police Department and all programs are 100% free.
Week 3 - The B+ Foundation
The B+ Foundation
The Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation is one of the largest providers of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer nationwide. This year alone, The B+ Foundation will help over 2,000 families from over 200 hospitals. Thanks to the generosity of the Joey Logano Foundation, 10-15 families will have critical medical and living expenses paid for so that they can focus on what’s most important — their child’s life-or-death battle.
Week 4 - The Relatives
The Relatives
The Relatives began in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1974 as a safe haven for youth who were either homeless or had run away from home and had thus been exposed to exploitation and the dangers of street life. In 2016, JLF was able to fund a project to completely renovate our “carriage house”, which serves as a bonus room for the kids at our crisis center. The facility went from very tattered to a beautiful new space for these kids in crisis to hang out, play games and just be kids!
Week 5 - Central Plains Healthcare

In 1999, Project Access began coordinating access to donated medical care for uninsured, low-income residents of Sedgwick County, Kansas. Thanks to our founding funders — United Way of the Plains, the City of Wichita (CSBG) and Sedgwick County — Project Access is still able to serve the community today.
Week 6 - Youth Villages

Youth Villages is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully. Our Evidentiary Family Restoration® approach involves intensive work with the child and family, a focus on measuring outcomes, keeping children in the community whenever safely possible, and providing accountability to families and funders.
Week 7 - Southside Survivor Network

Southside Survivor Response Center is a leader in the fight against domestic violence, sexual violence and homelessness. We are the only organization that provides services to victims/survivors in Martinsville, Henry County, and Patrick County that provides post-emergency assistance and support programs.
Week 8 - World Vision
World Vision
Because families living in poverty struggle to pay rent and keep food on the table, school supplies - items such as notebooks, binders, pencils, scissors, and glue sticks - quickly become unaffordable luxuries. And when school districts are unable to help, caring teachers struggle to fill the gap. The Teacher Resource Center (TRC) provides school supplies to teachers and support staff of Title 1 schools within an approximate 25 mile radius. Teachers and other school staff come to the North Texas World Vision warehouse facility or mobile TRC and "shop," free of charge, for the products most useful to their students and classrooms.
Week 9 - Phoenix Dream Center

THRIVE FOSTER CARE PREVENTION AND FAMILY REUNIFICATION: Begun in the spring of 2016, THRIVE goes to the root of what has led many of our minor children to be separated from their parents in Maricopa County, Arizona. THRIVE has partnered with county officials to intercede with households and provide needed bedding, refrigerators, food, etc. that would halt separations.
Week 10 - Joshua's Heart

Joshua’s Heart Foundation was founded in 2005 in Miami, Florida and is dedicated to the fight against global hunger and poverty. JHF has two primary goals: to “Stomp out World Hunger” and to “Break the Cycle of Poverty”. JHF is a 501(c) 3 non-for-profit organization, which empowers needy people to improve their quality of life, by providing items of basic necessities, such as groceries, and by effectively engaging and educating communities at home and abroad about committing to fight hunger and poverty on global basis.To date JHF has distributed over 1 million pounds of food to families in need in South Florida, Jamaica, Africa and India.
