Congratulations to Joey Logano, winner of his first NASCAR Cup Series Championship on November 18, 2018 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. As we congratulate Joey for this special achievement, we are also thankful for the wonderful work of the Joey Logano Foundation off the track in support of the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. Joey has always been a winner to the children and families who stay at our House. Since 2016, the Joey Logano Foundation has partnered with the Connecticut House fulfilling our aligned missions of keeping families together and giving children a second chance, bringing them comfort, relief and hope for the future.

Joey, a Middletown native, has returned home each of the last four years to meet his local fans and give back to his local community through an annual fundraising event, Driving Hope Home. In 2018, the event included a dinner and karting event at Foxwoods Resort Casino with fellow NASCAR drivers, Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski, and Ryan Preece on hand for the festivities.

“We are grateful to have the opportunity to partner with Brittany and Joey Logano and the Joey Logano Foundation,” stated Michelle D’Amore, Executive Director, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. “Their generosity continues to make a significant difference in providing important resources for every family who comes through our special ‘home away from home.’ This year’s generous gift of $93,638.10 from the proceeds from the Driving Hope Home event will be utilized to set up the Brittany and Joey Logano Pantry Pals Fund.”

Families of children battling serious illness or injury rely on the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut to be a safe and comfortable environment close to the hospital for the duration of their treatment. The Brittany and Joey Logano Pantry Pals Fund will provide families facing the tremendous anxiety of having a sick child access to groceries throughout their stay at the House. It will be a pantry filled with nutritional food, beverages, frozen foods, canned goods, paper products and kitchen utensils allowing a family to prepare a meal after a long day in a
healthcare facility with their child.

“I have witnessed the wonderful work that the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut continues to do to help keep families together in a time of crisis,” stated Joey. “The facilities are truly remarkable. I hope that our support will provide each family one less thing to worry about so they can focus on what matters most, the health and well-being of their child.”

Over the next decade, thousands of families will be able to depend on the Brittany and Joey Logano Pantry Pals Fund for provisions to help each family get through the most challenging time of their lives.

Thank you Brittany and Joey.
