Charlotte, NC (May 27, 2015) – Nearly one year after Dream On 3 (DO3) fulfilled Dream Kid Edward ‘Edwin’ Hernandez’s dream to attend a NASCAR race and meet his favorite driver, Joey Logano, DO3 announces its partnership with the Joey Logano Foundation.
The Joey Logano Foundation has generously donated $20,000 to further DO3’s vision to unite communities in promoting the dreams of children. With a mission and values that align, DO3 and the Joey Logano Foundation are huddling up in a continued effort to generate positive change, specifically making a difference in the lives of local children.
“We are very excited about what Dream On 3 is doing for children in this community. We were honored to be able to make Edwin’s Dream come true last year and we look forward to making many more dreams come true through this partnership with Dream On 3,” said Joey Logano.
In 2014, DO3 teamed up with the Joey Logano Foundation, among others, to make Hernandez’s dream a reality during Charlotte Motor Speedway’s NASCAR All-Star Race. His magical day started with a police escort and limousine ride to Concord Regional Airport, where he was flown into the infield of Charlotte Motor Speedway by helicopter. After landing, Hernandez’s day was filled with celebrity meet and greets and access to everything NASCAR.
