We are so incredibly thankful to Joey Logano and the Joey Logano Foundation for their amazing and continued support of our organization and their passion for serving children in foster care. We have received yet another generous grant from JLF! Part of this latest grant will provide funds to support the building of Crossnore’s new Winston-Salem campus charter school. And the other portion will help support needed therapy services for the children we serve.

About the charter school, Regional Executive Director Shana Heilbron says, “The Crossnore Community Charter School is being designed to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children, particularly those who have experienced trauma… We are grateful for the support of the Joey Logano Foundation and will name one of our new literacy labs in the Foundation’s honor.

Vice President of Clinical Services, Dr. Dawn O’Malley says, “The support Crossnore receives from the Joey Logano Foundation makes it possible for us to provide the very best mental health services available to children such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Seven Challenges. We want to be in a position to deliver high quality mental health services to children that need them most, and the Joey Logano Foundation’s support of our work with foster children helps make this possible.

Thank you, JLF, for helping us provide children with a trauma-informed education and the therapy services they need to build hope and healing. We are so grateful!
